Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller

For the security of our customers and staff, and in compliance with the official recommendations for combating COVID-19, my offices will be closed to the public effective March 25, 2020.  For our customers, a drop box is located in the Lobby of the Judicial Center under the watchful eyes of Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Department Court Security.  Customers may deposit their documents for court filings and recordings, which will be retrieved daily. 

All emergency and essential court services are still being provided as designated by the Florida Supreme Court and the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court Administrative Orders.  Individuals needing Clerk services related to Domestic Violence Injunctions for Protection, Baker Acts, or Marchman Acts shall report to Court Security located in the Lobby of the Judicial Center.  These individuals will be personally assisted by my staff.

In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), effective March 23, 2020, the issuance of passports and the performance of marriage ceremonies are suspended until further notice.
